The organisational arrangements were most impressive and I personally wasn't aware of any hitches in the system at all. Recently central Nottinghamshire Health Authority decided to hold a conference on the Quality of Psychiatric Care. Since this would be the second conference held within three months, it was decided to enlist the services of PMC Conferences and Exhibitions to try and relieve the administrative task. Within a very short timescale, PMC Conferences and Exhibitions took over the organisation of the conference, booked the venue, circulated the information and received applications from delegates, all conducted in a highly professional manner and all of which eased the burden of hosting a conference. Almost 100 delegates attended the conference, and after playing the fees to PMC plus the cost of the Conference Centre, a healthy surplus was generated which will be additional non-recurrent revenue for the psychiatric Services budget during this financial year.

We intend to hold conferences on an annual basis in future, both to raise the profile of the service and to income generate, and have no hesitation in continuing to use the services of PMC Conferences and Exhibitions who I can and unreservedly recommend.
